I'll admit it, I'm totally ok having 1 or 2 days (maybe more!) when it's perfectly fine to do whatever I feel like and get a little pampered by others too. Yes, it was birthday time again for me. Mike surprised me by taking me shopping (definitely something he doesn't enjoy). Then knowing our Monday was slammed, we celebrated on Sunday - Mike took care of dinner, ensured ColdStone took care of the cake, and entertained the kids so I could nap and read. It was a relaxing and enjoyable day with fun family time too. I think I would be content spending my birthday this way any year.
