In a community just minutes from our house, there was a special Nature Fest this weekend - celebrating different ways to be eco-friendly, make nature crafts, see animals, etc. I went with 3 of the kids and pretty much it was hot and crowded. After Kenna insisted that we wait in the snow cone line for an hour and Brett had become more than tired - we left. BUT....Brett and I did get a fabulous pony-riding picture of ourselves in the Chronicle and we look like we are having a good time. And we did enjoy face painting and a petting zoo so we will remember it as thus. :)
