Some days are crazy - today was one of those and of course Mike was out of town. We began at 6am with a swim meet. The kids did great and it's nice to be swimming in warmer weather now. We left the swim meet early to make it to Max's basketball game at 1:00. He did great and we were happy to cheer him on. We left immediately after that and changed in the car so we could squeeze in the kid's piano recital (which had already started). They had Kenna play as soon as we arrived and Max followed just after her. Their songs have been a little challenging (especially Max's) and I was so proud of them for getting up and doing their best.
We finally got home around 4:30 and were more than ready to do nothing for the rest of the day. Too bad the younger boys didn't feel the same way. So we hit the pool, had pizza, and watched movies for the rest of the night. Glad we fit it all in and glad we survived!
