Always on holiday mornings, the kids wake up early - giddy with excitement on a day tinged with magic. Containers quickly filled with eggs, but those baskets seemed to elude us. Kenna searched tirelessly and was finally rewarded with goodies, church books and Julie's (AG doll) bunny "Nutmeg".
The searching was a bit too much for Brett, luckily for him Kenna didn't let any basket go unfound. She ensured that he enjoyed his stash too. After a few clues (these hiding places are tough!), Max was successful as well.
A slow morning filled with chocolate and jelly beans is just perfect with us. And of course there is always a little basketball. Mike was sure that "Little Jimmer" would enjoy a new hoop and he was certainly right. There is pure joy in a ball and a net.

I love love LOVE Kenna's hair! I'm sure that's what mine looked like most holiday mornings. Probably even right now actually :) Those baskets are pretty awesome. I need to step it up!
