San Antonio and Sea World

It's become a Thanksgiving tradition - each year we travel to San Antonio and stay at the most wonderful place, slipping in a few afternoons at Sea World and having a ball.  This year, we arrived on the night of the big parade and official holiday lighting.  I tried to talk everyone into going down with me but the boys weren't interested so it was just Kenna and I.  We grabbed a glittering snowflake wand, watched the bands, homemade floats, Sea World characters, and attempted to grab a few pieces of candy.  Santa ended the parade and suddenly there were lights everywhere and snow falling from the sky.  It was so fun and beautiful.  Even one of Santa's reindeer made it for the event.
That same night, my cousins (Linzie & kids, and Raschelle and Tyson) came to join us for some s'more making and an indoor movie with popcorn.  We had been hanging out in the lazy river prior to their arrival.  It was great to be with them and so nice they - wish our 2 cities were a little closer together.
The rest of our trip consisted of playing outside, taking in the shows (Brett LOVES Shampu), and enjoying the fact that we were away. The hotel is so family friendly and the kids know their way around and this year no one got sick!  All of that made for one successful get-away.
