Nursery Rhyme Festival 2008

Once again Kenna had her school Nursery Rhyme festival - they don't want scary costumes and don't want to assume everyone does the Halloween thing so they try to center it around Nursery Rhymes.  Kenna has been a sheep and a pig in past years but this year she decided that since the Little Mermaid was a story - her Ariel costume would qualify.

More than anything, I think the kids loved the little train that brings them over to the gym - naturally Kenna made sure she was riding in the pink car.

They played a variety of games and got the kind of prizes that you end up discarding in a few weeks but she was happy.  Any celebration always makes for a good time.
