Thanksgiving with Grandy

This year we were lucky enough to have Mike's mom ("Grandy") fly in for Thanksgiving. The kids couldn't wait until she arrived - they must have known she would come bearing gifts! They snuggled and read in her bed to their hearts contents - it is so great to have others love your kids so much.
We had quite the Thanksgiving Feast - I even made homemade rolls for the first time this year and they turned out! Quite the confidence booster. The celebration was a little much for Brett - poor sleepy boy. We enjoyed the great food, company, the low key atmosphere, and of course our "Thanksgiving Tablecloth" tradition. It was so fun to read the things we have been thankful for in the past. This year Kenna got a little carried away and couldn't stop writing things she was grateful for - it looks I might be replacing this one sooner than I thought - it's filling up!
We did take Grandy to golfing while she was here too - she enjoyed it but as you can tell from the picture - someone did not have a a good day. Better luck next time...

I loved re-living Thanksgiving through your pictures and comments. Your dinner rolls were the best! And, of course, I loved being with you, Mike and the children. There is always a sweet spirit in your home. Life doesn't get better than this:-) Love you, Grandy
