Brett's King of Kings festival at the end of September seemed to suddenly spring up. No longer fairy tale themed, I had to come up with a king costume and fast. The princess/queens have it so easy - those costumes are everywhere! With some felt, brads, gold posterboard, and rope-like trim, I managed to come up with a fairly regal costume. Of course Brett had torn the cross off by the time the activities rolled around but that's to be expected.
Trains, games, crafts, and royal snacks - it was a fun day. I manned the ducky booth - luckily the snacks kept Cade busy for the the first hour. After that there was some chasing but we made it through and came home with a few extra duckies too.
