Mike's mom flew out to join us for Thanksgiving and just happened to arrive on the evening of her birthday! Of course we had to celebrate, so we had a special dinner waiting for her when she arrived. We researched her favorite desserts and found they all had coconut in common - thus our favorite coconut sponge cake. Kenna presented her with a book full of all the cousins' names, the kids made cards and coupons, and we gave her a little gift too. The kids adore Grandy and we were so tickled that she could spend this special day with us.
