Basketball Championship

When we signed Max up for basketball this year, the team needed a coach. Mike had talked about coaching in the past, but there was always somebody else already in place and we left it at that. Well, he stepped up to the plate and did an awesome job with the boys. Practices 2x a week (sometimes in our backyard), lots of games, and hard work from the boys have made the past 3 months quite eventful. We had many nail biter games, a couple disappointments but overall they were doing great. And then it was time for play-offs. There is that team that wins every year and how we wanted to beat them. Each play-off game was anxiety filled but the boys pulled it off and made it to the finals. Not taking anything for granted, they played hard up to the end (even without one of their key players) and this year there were some new champions!! What a great season - it was so fun to watch and be a part of. Great job Mike, Max, and  boys!
