There are so many things to love about the rodeo - one being that is one of the only big outings we do as a complete family. There are so many things to look at, ride, and eat; definitely something for everyone. Tradition has it that we ride the Ferris Wheel first, look out over the vast landscape of our sprawling concrete city, and feel like we're scraping the sky. Afterwards, we divide up and head out to the kids' height appropriate attractions. I had the little boys this year and it wasn't all that easy. Food was needed to keep going, the roller coaster scared Cade, we had a fight over the tractor, and all Cade wanted to do in the petting zoo was scoop up goat poo and chuck it at you - we left that area quickly. But the interactive farm, train ride, airplane ride, popcorn, and slippery slides were great. And once it hit melt-down time, we reunited with Dad and headed home. It was a full day. Mike said he had a great time. I'm thinking next year, I might just have to overcome my motion sickness so he can take a turn with the younger guys. :)
