Magic Kingdom - 4 kids & 1 mom

Today we tackled Magic Kingdom.  With just me and this spring breakness - we wake up early, get ready, head out on the bus with our waters, pretzels, sunscreen, hats, and strollers, grab breakfast at the park, and hit all the rides we can before the lines get too atrocious.  Then we head back around 12:30 to swim and relax.  Our plan went great this morning.  We went on the toy story ride twice, Max and Kenna rode space mountain, we grabbed breakfast and while we were eating the trash can closest to us came to life!, spun in the teacups (they stopped the ride because Cade was standing up), and then thought we'd hit the Winnie the Pooh ride because the wait was only 15 minutes.  As a mom, sometimes you push it just a little too far.  While there were things to play with during the wait - it turned out to be 50 minute wait!!!!  Cade was so tired; he completely melted down in line, hitting, kicking, squirming, and screaming.  Brett was in dire need of a drink.  I realized even after 40 minutes in line we were still going to have to wait so wanted to hightail it out of there - so Kenna started bawling because I had promised her we would go on the ride!  I stuffed the boys in the stroller trying to get out of the park as quickly as possible. Cade lost a shoe in the process, then managed to wiggle himself almost out of the stroller so the strap was around his neck, he got carried, Max pushed Kenna and Brett, we returned the Disney stroller, grabbed ours, waited for the bus, and finally got back to the hotel.  How quickly something going fairly well can unravel!  With a little time to decompress, we enjoyed the afternoon and looked forward to Mike's return in the evening.

You are one amazing mama! You can tell Kenna that the Pooh ride is kind of lame. We only went on it bc we had fast passes and we decided afterwards that it definitely wouldn't be worth the 50 minute wait that the reg line had.

YAY!!! Your blog posts are so great and you have been hard at work updating! Way to go! Disney looked like a blast and I can't wait to take my boys! Such fun family memories you made, but I still cannot believe you did it by yourself during spring break week...supermom!!!
