Kenna

Kenna is just so dang cute - even with the occassional attitude - you can't help but love her.

Kenna is our free spirit. She is always doing exactly what she wants and is pretty good at tuning the rest of us out. She is in dance, gymnastics, and preschool - at home she is ALWAYS singing and dancing - but is more than a little upset if I tell her I liked her song - apparently I'm not supposed to be listening. She usually makes up her own songs. I don't know where this habit comes from - I mean it's not like her mother is always singing silly songs about anything and everything around the house. :)

This is what I caught her singing in the car today (sort of to the tune of The 10 Little Indians):

Kenna: "So this is how it goes....

The sister goes make a happy smiley face, make a happy smiley face, make a happy smiley face,
The brother goes make a happy face, make a happy face, make a happy face,
The baby goes cry-ee, grumpy, cryee; cry-ee, grumpy, cry-ee,...
The mommy says, 'Happy Halloween', 'Happy Halloween', she says 'Happy Halloween',
The daddy shouts, 'I have to go to work,' I have to go to work', Daddy shouts, 'I have to go to work" (this part is done in a low voice)

The song repeats itself over and over until we arrive at preschool. I'm just glad the mommy was saying something nice in the song.

What a cute family! It's fun to hear all about you and what's been going in your life. I'll have to check back again!

What a song...so true to life, right. Kenna is so cute. I can totally see you dressing up in those pics when you were a little girl...did you?
