Lunch with Max

With dance out of the way and Brett refusing to take his morning nap - Kenna, Brett, & I decided to surprise Max at school and show up for lunch. We swung by Chick-filet to pick up some nuggets and chocolate milk and headed over to the Elementary. Sitting at the visitors table in the cafeteria, we flagged down Max. He was so cute and told us, "I always look everyday to see if someone is waiting there." We have eaten with him on other occassions but this is the first this year time that we have surprised.

When he got home from school today, Max gave me the sweetest note (the last word is world). Moments like these make me realize how much I love being a mom.
