At Brett's school, they do their best to celebrate birthdays. Once a month, they honor all the kids with birthdays during that time and the pastor gives them a special birthday blessing. Brett was ok with me being there and likes people saying happy birthday, but being up in front of a crowd - no way! He refused to join the other kids on the stage but I did get him to sit with me for the official picture (he looks SO happy). Hope he felt special anyway. Love you Brettie-Brett!
