Fiddler on the Roof

I love musicals and one of my very favorites is "Fiddler on the Roof" - I'm pretty sure I know the words to every song. So when I found out that it was coming to Houston, I just had to get tickets. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) my date for that evening fell through (Mike promised some of the youth from church that he would take them boating and June 2 was the only day that would work), so Max joined me for a big night out at the theater. This was his first "fancy" play and it lasted until 11:00pm - way past Max's bedtime (he was very excited about that). I loved every minute of it - Chaim Topol (the original Teyve from the 1970's movie) was WONDERFUL - so glad we were able to see him in his farewell tour. Max ended up liking it too - he thought the main guy was really funny. It is so fun to share music and memories. All through the next week, we both caught ourselves singing things "If I were a Rich Man" - it's just sticks with you. :)
