When I picked up Kenna from school, she had her head down and that "glazed over" look. She fell asleep as I was loading the suitcases into the car so we waited an hour and let her get some much needed rest. But upon waking she declared she felt better and was ready to head to Dallas. So we picked up Alexa, her mom, and baby sister and hit the road. After one movie, the girls were more than ready to stop - we took a quick break and then set out again.
Several hours and "When will we be there?" requests later, we arrived at our hotel - located right by the AG store. The girls were squealing with delight - they were ready to run in and shop at that very moment. Instead, we grabbed dinner at the Grand Lux, serenaded Kenna with happy birthday, and tucked some very tired girls into bed. What an adventure already!
