Our time in California has flown by - we've been to the beach in Santa Cruz where Cade's football throwing skills were admired and where Max and Brett froze! We celebrated Baby Weston's 1st birthday, went to Los Gatos & the candy store, Max and I saw the last Harry Potter movie (loved it!), ate snowcones and purchased other goodies at the Farmer's Market, played in the tree house and pool, and soaked it in. Saturday was Grandpa's corporate party. We jumped, got our face painted, rode bumper cars, zoomed done the inflatable water slide, played bingo, and best of all made our own Styrofoam race cars and RACED them! We had a great time and it was wonderful to see how my dad is respected by so many.
That evening we had one more swim party with the cousins because it is just fun. These kids get along so well and couldn't help but be happy in the water. There's nothing quite like summer.
