This weekend, Mike and I were able to join his family at the South Jordan Temple. His grandmother passed away about a year ago and did not have the opportunity to sealed to her son (Mike's dad). It was a touching moment to witness that sacred ordinance performed by priesthood authority. The love shared between Scott and his mother was tangible and knowing they can be together as as a family unit for eternity means a lot because it would mean so much to them. There are moments when those that have left us feel so near, and this was one those. I am grateful for the wonderful influence both Scott and Lola have had on my life and on my husband's. What a blessing it has been to reflect on their lives and show our love for them.

With all this family togetherness, we had to squeeze in a family picture. Some last minute shopping and schedule rearranging made it all happen. It's not a perfect, but what family is? It's been great to spend time together and strengthen bonds. Wish we all lived a just wee bit closer.

You look a lot like Becca in this picture. I don't think that too often, but I do right now. What a beautiful family!
