This summer Kenna's got her first 2 permanent teeth. The only problem was, the one's in front weren't even a little bit loose. We kept hoping they would start to wiggle but to no avail. Once the dentist took a look, he said there was nothing to do but pull those babies out for the good of her mouth and all the other teeth. Kenna was excited to try out the laughing gas, lose her first teeth, and get out of school. I think the whole process was more than she bargained for, the roots were still long and there was pain and bleeding for quite awhile afterward. But she made it through with soft food and tylanol. An expensive way to lose your first teeth - the tooth fairy sure got a bargain on these babies. Thankfully her permanent teeth are now moving forward - we'll hope next time we get to experience those whole thing the regular way.
