Free Falling (or Sliding)

With the mountains and great weather, we had to take advantage of the Alpine slides.  Turns out here, if you are 7 or older you have to ride all by yourself.  Kenna was a little unsure about this (me too!) but attempted it anyway.  After showing her how it was done, I went down the other track with Cade, often waiting for Kenna to catch up on the other slide.  She just couldn't seem to push the lever all the way forward - her arms seemed to short.  I was feeling bad for her until she exclaimed that she wanted to do that again!
This time Cade (who had been a little suicidal on the lift) and I stayed at the bottom to wait.  Kenna zoomed right down that thing!  Oh, the things you can master when you have to.  Brett was in heaven too - he and grandpa made a good pair.
The house we are at is surrounded by long grass that borders a golf course.  The kids love to run in it, hide in it, and make their way through to visit Dad on the last few holes of the course.  Cade just loves to lie down in it - being totally surrounded by grass must make it feel like the greatest hiding place.

Don't you love the pictures of them running in the grass? It's pretty great!
