Columbus Day is much enjoyed at our house - mom hears glowing reports about her elementary school children in parent teacher conferences, the kids have no school, we eat out and have friends, and then because it is practically 90 degrees - we spend the afternoon outside enjoying the pool and the rest of the backyard. Suddenly summer doesn't seem that long ago. And homework - only mom is working on that. I tried to capture images with slow and fast shutter speeds - water and the trampoline proved great for experimenting.
Simple timelessness; that's what today felt like.
