While I was gone, Kenna's cheer squad and the football team had their homecoming game complete with a tailgate party. Kenna had a great time decorating the cars. In fact, when they picked me up at the airport, our minivan was decked out in streamers, Kenna's name, "go team", fun cheer pictures. She put the left over supplies to good use. It feels like we have been doing cheer forever and while we are ready for it to be over, it has been a good experience. Kenna can even do a cartwheel now! Hard work pays off. Their last game was a Saturday afternoon and the weather was gorgeous - I couldn't stop taking pictures of these cute and oh so talented cheerleaders.
Their halftime dance looks great, they are loud, have a ton of cheers memorized, and seem to have fun together. Kenna has had a great attitude and I couldn't be prouder. We'll be happy for the break but glad for the experience.
