Girls' trip

CAS and cute Ellie who squeezed in about 24 hours with us.
This year one of my fabulous sisters turned 40 and we decided that we should celebrate by going on a girls trip - all the sisters, sister-in-law, and Mom.  We almost all live in separate states and when we get together there are many kids and schedules.  So in an effort to enjoy a bit more relaxation and adult conversation, we all met up in Arizona and enjoyed the warm autumn air and being together.  We spent the first night catching up and marveling that Becca had left her 2 1/2 month old twins at home and only brought a hand-pump to get her through the weekend (the pump situation was remedied the next day). We got spa treatments, lounged by the pool, enjoyed a yummy dinner out, went shopping, took a french pastry cooking class, and had the most fabulous brunch ever.  It was so fun to just catch up and hear what was going on in everybody else's lives - so much better than a phone call.  These ladies are so busy and amazing - I am lucky to be related to them.  The weekend was great. It was the first time we have gotten together like this and I can't wait until we do it again. Thank you girls for coming and husbands for holding down the homefront!
