Field Tripping

We've been doing Cade's ABC preschool all year.  Field trips have been planned into the schedule but not too many of them have actually panned out.  Today, however, we ACTUALLY went to Oil Ranch.  He was there with buddies Ben, Thomas, and Camden even joined us.  So different to go somewhere with just Cade   - we could go where he wanted. The boys rode the train, burned some energy in the jumpy houses, visited with cows and other animals, checked out the tractors, and went on a hayride to feed some slobbery cows.  And of course we had to ride the ponies - Cade was ready to go but once on the horse, he held on pretty tight.  This was his first time riding solo so it's pretty understandable.  After all the fun, we raced back to preschool and picked up Brett just in the nick of time.  So glad to know morning adventures like this are actually possible.
