Grandy's House

This weekend, my mom had her high school girlfriends in town so we left Park City and headed to Draper to stay with Mike's mom.  We spent Friday afternoon at 7 Peaks water park where we were all having a grand time until a windstorm swept in with branches and more flying.  Kenna was hit in the head by a table umbrella so we hurried out of there before more damage was done.  We spent Saturday with all the cousins - Stephanie and family got back from Lake Powell so it was quite the group!  We caught Ice Age 4 which the kids loved with the funny Granny and all.  They also had monster slushies at the theater so who wouldn't be happy?  Then time at the park, swimming, and games of rook - Max, Bridger, and Dallin are becoming experts at that game.  

We enjoyed Sunday at Chris's ward although Cade had a MAJOR meltdown and would not get dressed for church.  I was out in the car with the screaming boy for 30 minutes than ventured into the foyer with a half-clad guy who kept crying for his daddy.  Amazingly enough, after an hour and dad's help, he got dressed and went to his class - you can bet after that I enjoyed the quiet of Sunday school immensely.  We had a great Sunday dinner with everyone and then headed to our dear friends the Brimhalls for a visit.  Their new house is beautiful and they were so kind to welcome us in the midst of their unpacking.  We are going back tomorrow for Family Home Evening.  Yes, life is good.
