Happy Easter - a little late! We were in Park City, UT for Easter this year (yes, we are doing are best to spend all major holidays there - or at least it seems that way). We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa that morning and enjoyed our afternoon in Draper with Grandy and all the Utah cousins.
For some reason, Brett decided to scream all through the night on Easter Eve which wore out both Brett and his parents. He made it through the early morning festivities but was in no shape to don his cute Easter outfit and make it to church. At least Kenna and Max kept their clothes on long enough to pose for a few pictures.
All that glorious Easter loot! After much searching the kids found most of the eggs (there may be a few more lying around for anyone visiting PC) and their baskets. Kenna was a little upset that her basket was so hard to find but once she finally discovered it behind the couch, all was ok.
Luckily Grandpa decided we needed some real food and made special bunny pancakes to help us kick off the morning. Thank goodness for grandparents - we definitely wouldn't have had these in Texas.
After church we hit the road and joined our cousins for a very yummy Easter lunch, a special Easter lesson on the Savior and his sacrifice, and a huge Easter Egg hunt. Mike's mom put so much time into everything - it was wonderful. Even though we (Mike and I) were wiped, we had a wonderful time and so enjoyed being everyone's guests. Thank you!

Hooray! Your blog is back to life! I hope you really did leave me some eggs to find in PC.
Was this really a "vacation"? You travel way more than I would even attempt. It jsut gives me a headache to think about. I barely even brave the car with the kids :) next time we'll have to get the kids together. Looking forward to May, I got my schedule in the mail. I'll email you and Lori soon about it.
I am loving the Park City house changes! New paint and all. It looks like you guys had a great time!
On another note, I had my first Remicade treatment Monday, and I can already tell a big difference. I am getting around really well and they say I will be a new woman by May! Here's hoping!
The Easter bunny hid Syd's basket behind the couch too...she was a little frustrated she couldn't find it b/c she found Addysons, mine and Daddy's before hers. Cute pics!!!
Could your kids be any cuter?! I love the early morning photos of Kenna, -and that she kept on her Easter dress ALL day! Wish we had been there to join in on the bunny pancakes; Dad was always so good at that. I'll look out for rotten eggs the next time we're in PC. Remember the egg Mom found once in July???!
I love your blog updates. It was wonderful having all of you at Grandy's home for Easter. I loved the Easter story that the grandchildren read. I loved how the teams shared their Easter eggs with each other after the big hunt. I loved coloring eggs with Kenna and Max. And, I loved hearing back from Max that he had finished Book #1! Did the mail carrier deliver Book #2? Love, Grandy
Looks like you had a great Easter. Love the Easter pictures. I miss going to PC. I have some fond memories of going up there to relax in college. Good times!
