Berry Picking

The other week, we headed out to a farm not far from our house and went blueberry picking. We got all decked out - with hats for shade and boots for mud but the weather was great and so all that attire wasn't really necessary. After about 20 minutes Kenna declared she was done. But Max was great - he was determined to pick the most berries and kept making me pull down branches for him. There were so many blueberries and they were so yummy. I think we ended up and picking 3 1/2 lbs and sadly they are now all gone. Time to go back.

Brett had no problem keeping himself occuppied - I think he could have stayed there all day.

I know this picture of Kenna is awful but I had to include it because she made this face and then yelled, "Mom, take a picture of me!" She NEVER poses for the camera. Instead she hides her face, shows me her back or sticks out her tongue. She is definitely not a pleaser but does make life interesting.

This is one of my favorite childhood memories, picking fresh berries and taking them home. What a fun activity to do together. We love you all! Happy summer!
