Egyptian Days

Each grade at Max's elementary has a special cultural day - 1st grade does Egyptian Day. Max was thrilled to dress up (as always) and even wore a wig for part of the day. I realize in the first picture he looks a little Roman but we ended up changing the outfit to white and it looked more authentic.

The kids each went to different stations - I helped man the mummy wrapping station where they all got to wrap each other in tiolet paper! If you are ever need a rainy day (or too HOT TX summer day) activity for your kids, you could try this. Max also made a cartouche, excavated for treasure, tried Egyptian cuisine, learned about King Tut, and more. It was a very fun day for Max and for me.
