Relaxing

I have to admit, all the preparation that goes into a trip and actually getting out the door usually stresses me out - but once I am there, it is usually all worth it. It is so nice to get away from everyday demands for just a little while and enjoy being with my family and children. I find that it is usually only on vacation that I can actually find the time to make it through a whole book. While we were in Utah, the weather was beautiful (we even got a taste of snow on the last day) and we spent time with both Mike's family and my parents. Being home alone this weekend with kids that can't seem to keep the meltdowns at bay, I am yearning once again for an afternoon away from responsibilities and the ability to relax. Thank goodness I was able to experience that while we were away last week!
