Brett just starting saying Max's name this week and what a fun thing that has been for everyone! Max and Brett are such good friends and adore each other but for so long Max's name has been the only one Brett couldn't master. It has been almost a year since Brett got his tubes (they just fell out so he'll be re-evaluated in a few weeks to see if we need to go through the process again). He has also been receiving in-home speech therapy for about a year too - at first it was slow going but his progress now is undeniable and so exciting.
The other day I decided to make a list Brett's words - just curious to count up how many words this little guy really says. I was amazed to discover a vocabulary of 87 words (not including animal sounds and other noises which we ALWAYS used to count) - the best part about this is that he is adding words everyday! So maybe, just maybe, this struggle to understand each other may be a thing of the past - not to much too hope - right?

That is so happy! Maybe he'll be talking well by the time baby #4 comes. I hope so for you!!!
