Getting Big

This was us two years ago.  Precious baby Cade entered the world and changed our family forever.  We all adore him and find him endlessly entertaining.  What a joy this boy is!

As always, tradition demanded that we decorate his door and march in with balloons.  Cade loved all the attention and especially loved all the balloons.  Ten balls floating in the air - it doesn't get much better than that.  He grabbed each one and just like a basketball, shot it over the stairway railing.

Once Cade got downstairs and saw his presents, all he wanted was those cookies!  What was I thinking?  He screamed and cried until they were in his hands - but hey, it's a birthday so cookies for breakfast is ok.  We followed it up with breakfast birthday cake (Cade's tradition because the day is always too busy) and basketball.  A perfect morning for this 2-year-old. I can't believe this guy is getting so big - I could just eat him up!
