Shall We Dance?

Kenna has been a busy girl this year.  She has been doing ballet, tap, and hip-hop all year and gets to perform 3 times in the recital this year!  She spent all morning at rehearsal, perfecting her steps on the big stage.
Her ballet dance was "Jellicle Cats" - we loved this costume.
Hip-hop was an 80's workout number.  When we were shopping for her outfit Kenna vehemently declared, "I hate the 80's and all their clothes!  They are so ugly!  I wish we were doing any other thing but the 80's."  Ouch! I let her know the 80's weren't all that bad and I once happily wore those fashions.
Her tap routine was done to Madagascar's "Move It, Move It" (Brett's favorite song).  It was a fun one to watch.  Kenna did an awesome job and has the best attitude.  If everything doesn't go perfectly that's ok with her because "I did my best".  Love it!!  A few friends came out to see her on her special night which was quite the treat.  As always, it was an exciting recital day but exhausting - Kenna passed up ice cream because she just wanted to go straight home.
