I Want to Go to Church!

Every Sunday morning for the past year (or more), Brett asks, "Where are we going today"?  When we answer that we are going to church, it's complaining and crying and always, "No!  I don't want to go to church!  I'm not going to church!"  We brace for it every week and work throughout the morning trying to change his mind.  Today he asked me, "Mom, are we going to church today?"  I answered yes, bracing for the reaction.  And Brett says, "Good, I like church. I want to go to church today." I could not have been more surprised. Maybe we've turned a corner.
