Every child gets a special birthday dinner. Since Cade can't make specific requests yet, we just did our best - the watermelon was a hit. Then the all coveted present time! The 4th child (3rd boy) doesn't really need much but we did have some winners. He couldn't get enough of his flag day/birthday balloon. Swirling light things, balls, and the trains especially were a hit.
We really haven't accumulated much Thomas stuff over the years but his friends have. After opening his box of trains - he just lit up. Full comprehension - oh so cute! I love a happy birthday kid.
Charlie and his family came to join us for cake and snap-its (those exploding firework things). Kids running around, blowing bubbles, throwing balls, lights flashing at your feet - it was loud and quite fun. The perfect celebration for our fun little guy. Happy Birthday little Jimmer!
2 Things I Love About Cade
1. Cade is passionate and determined - he will shoot hoops for hours, swim with vigor, find his way up onto the the trampoline, and make what he wants happen
2. He has the greatest smile and dimple and flashes it often. How can your day be bad when that beaming face is looking up at you?
