Tonight was so beautiful. I just couldn't resist being outside so while the big kids watched a movie, Brett and I spent some time outdoors. I love watching Brett and seeing what captures his interest. A little bug on the ground, the texture of a leaf, a pebble in the road, splashing his toes in the water by the curb, digging in the mulch by our bushes... Watching him reminds me to slow down and really enjoy the little things. There is so much to be appreciated and yet I often overlook it. As I watched Brett's fascination, I was fascinated too.
