Snake!

I have to admit, living where we do, that I have found all sorts of living things in my home - frogs, geckos, mice, and several weeks ago the neighbor's cat staring up at 2am from the foot of our bed. But yesterday morning, upon waking up earlier than I wanted to (Kenna had a fever and couldn't sleep and I had a bunch of stuff to put together for Young Women's) - anyway, I went into the family room to turn on a movie for Kenna and there on the floor was a little gray snake wiggling around! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! I quickly woke Mike up and Kenna was advised to stay on the couch with her feet up - instead she ran up to wake up Max so he could be part of the excitement. Mike did finally capture and kill the snake. It was probably harmless but who wants to take chances? We'll all hope that's the first and the last snake in our home.

OH MY GOSH!!!! That is so crazy! I would have just died if that had been in my house! I don't do bugs in my house let alone reptiles! How in the world do you think that got in??

Yuck. That is exciting! But, you are not really living until you come across a couple scorpions. They make me shudder.

YIKES! I don't know that I could have kept my cool for that one. I hate snakes.

That's really funny about your neighbor's cat, too.

Scary! There has to be a pet of some sort that can protect a home from such invasions.

Okay...just reading that took my heart rate up a few ticks....I am freaking out for you. I would move...seriously. I almost listed our house when I saw a mouse OUTSIDE. I am a freak about stuff like that even near my house.

Ok, time to move! With all those fun creatures coming into your house, do you have a hard time going to sleep at night? I would be scared just to even put my feet down my sheets. DISGUSTING! Acutally I would probably require that my house be completed sanitized. You are a brave woman.

Seriously! A snake in your house???!!! Wow Mims, I would have flipped. And Mike caught and killed it? I don't think I would know how to kill a snake. It's not like a spider that you just hit with your shoe. YUCK!!!

That is so... Yuck! I would have freaked out! I don't like snakes at all, I think it would have been me scaring the kids instead of that snake.

Texas is getting pretty crazy down there!!! Go Mike, way to be the big hero. Did he actually kill the snake? It sounds like an Indian Jones movie. :)
