A little more UT

After California, we returned to Utah for one more week. We spent a lot of time in the car traveling from one place to another but the kids were good sports about it all (especially if a movie was playing).

My mom traveled back to Utah with us to spend a few days with her mom and friends. She was huge help on the plane and it was fun to be with her for a little longer. My grandma Norma was also up in Park City for a few days too. She is such an incredible woman. She raised 8 children, has over 30 grandchildren, and who knows how many great-grandchildren. But she knows and loves them all and never misses a birthday or important milestone. We love her dearly and are so grateful for her righteous and loving example.

One thing the kids always want to do in UT is camp. We didn't stay over night, but we had a fun evening in Millcreek Canyon with dinner, games, and a campfire. There was an open dirt area that looked like a slide by our site and you guessed it - Kenna and Brett spent a lot of time climbing up and sliding down. They were completely covered with dirt but I just couldn't stop them - they were having so much fun! Thank goodness for washing machines!

This guy just loves to run free - as long someone was running with him, all was well.Grandy, Kenna, and Katie playing the candy bar game.Kim, Ellie, and Dallin
Even Grandma Lola joined us for the night (she's holding our new nephew Scott)
Vacations are just that - time to play, enjoy, and take a break from ordinary life. We love them and will do our best to enjoy "normal" life until the next one rolls around.
