Miur Woods

Muir About a month before our summer trip, Max asked, "Mom, what is the biggest in the world?" We decided that the California Redwoods had to be the tallest and decided that we would see them when we went to California. So on day #1 of our CA week, we headed to Miur Woods and it didn't disappoint.

Cute Jen getting close to nature, and Max and Grandma reading up on the trees. Did you know at one point they proposed turning the Muir Woods area into a dam? What a travesty that would have been.

Brett loved seeing the deer - seeing any animal brings lots of excitement.

I love a man with a stroller! And hiding in trees - what could be better?

Kenna, the free spirit - boy does that girl have a long tongue! She definitely didn't inherit that from me. But really Kenna did enjoy the woods just as long as she got to ride in the stroller ("But my legs are too tired from walking." - am I the only one who hears that all the time?)
