Monterey

Ok, I know it is time to wrap up the vacation talk especially since I have been home for several weeks. But we had such a good time and I enjoy reliving it - So just a few more entries.
On our last full day in CA, we headed over to Monterey and the Aquarium. There was some huge biker event going on and the streets were very crowded - but we got to see Clydesdale horses kick off the big weekend and an interesting array of people.
Monterey is so beautiful and the Aquarium had lots look at and do. The kids loved the children's area, the sea otters, the sharks, jellyfish, the waterhole and much more. After being a little sick and apprehensive for the majority of the week - Brett was finally back to himself - hurray! He was running everywhere (no stroller for this boy!), chasing down dogs, delighting in the otters and all the touchable sea life, and this one slide - he was on it over and over again. California we loved you! Both Max and Kenna have already told me know they are ready to go back and I think I am too. Thanks Mom, Dad, Jen, Michael, kids, and friends (Cherisse, Sarah, & Paige) for making our week there such great experience.
