Utah Fun

We had such a wonderful time in Utah. We were very busy driving from one place to another, trying to see people and keep busy while Mike worked. We literally fell into bed every night - the kids in their clothes with many missed teeth brushings. Utah was definitely hot during the day but the mornings and evenings made it all worth it. You can bet we will continue to escape there during the summer for as long as we can.
Some highlights... Kenna at the Park City Sound Garden

Hogle Zoo - we really enjoyed the bears, the white alligator, and the carousal! And of course the ice cream!

Lagoon - I wish I had more pictures. We left Brett at home at took the big kids. They had a blast. The look on Kenna's face all night was pure enjoyment. While Max did the roller coasters, she tried everything else. My favorite moment was watching her ride the little bumper cars - she would crack up every time she slammed into someone! If we had ended the trip that night, it would have been on a high note.

Thanksgiving point and the dinosaur museum - nothing like digging for bones in all those pebbles.

We also hit Seven Peaks water park (where my cell phone was accidentally thrown away, recovered, but drenched with soda so now I have a new one), we went to lots of parks, rode the Alpine slides and coaster, ate shakes at Grannies in Heber, played at the Children's museum, explored Temple Square, and of course spent lots of time with cousins! Oh how we love them and have been blessed this year to see them often.

Mims - you threw away your phone! That's awful! I'm glad you still have my number. I love that Kenna laughed when she hit people with her car. That's hilarious. And thanks for rubbing it in that you got to go to Granny's for ice cream.

We loved looking at these photos! G loves your kids! We will have to schedule to meet you in UT perhaps next summer. It looks like you have discovered so many fun things to do there. Plus, the 4th of July with family? What a wonderful thing! We love you!
