Today was Kenna's big dance recital. That means she had practice all morning, a little time to swim, play games, eat, and get ready - then it was back to the high school for show time. She has come such a long way since her first recital at age 4. This year marked Kenna's 5th year with her dance studio so she received a special recognition award at the beginning of the program. Kenna has been looking forward to the special shoe award for a while - she definitely deserves it. Grandma and Grandpa flew into town just to see her dance - they have never been to one of her performances. I rushed through the rain with Kenna in order to get her settled and then went to get seats for the family. For some reason this year was CRAZY! We couldn't find more than 2 seats together so we sat in 3 groups of 3. Not exactly what I was hoping for but it worked.
Kenna looked beautiful and did a great job on her ballet and jazz dances. She is becoming such a wonderful girl and we are so proud of her. Way to shine Boo-bear!

That is so cool that they get awards for sticking with dance! You have one talented little lady on your hands. She looks gorgeous!
