We recently made our summer bucket list - something we do every year. Bowling was on the list so it was serendipitous that Kenna was invited to a bowling party on the 2nd day of summer break. We took her down to the birthday table, present in hand, and then went and got a lane of our own. Cade is a bowling fanatic - one ball after the other - he LOVES it when we give up our turn and let him bowl for us. The way he throws the ball though - I fear someday he's going to leave a dent near the front of that wooden lane. The bumpers keep us all in the game and build up our self confidence. And the pizza! I don't think any bowling alley has better pizza. Max was the high scorer for the day (Cade kind of took over my turns), Kenna got a bag full of goodies, and everyone got a bit of time at the arcade. A very successful afternoon, let's see what we can tackle tomorrow.
